NRA Blacklist - A Badge Of Honor

As a supporter of comprehensive gun safety measures, I was deeply disappointed when I discovered my name was not on the list. I was particularly surprised by the omission given my opposition to the loophole that makes it legal for 18- to 20-year-olds to buy handguns at gun shows.

So wrote Dustin Hoffman when, to his horror, he discovered the he was not on the NRA blacklist. His indignant letter to the NRA is typical of a growing number of prominent Americans who feel that not being on the NRA black list implies their support for the gun lobby.

The list contains both corporations and individuals and includes such luminaries as

- Brittney Spears, (notable for her grasp of ethic and moral issues)
- Sean Connery (well that's the female voters of America convinced)
- New York Times (that left wing liberal rag)
