Man, what a sight. Sometimes I regret living so far north.

The Aurora Australis is such a wonderful sight, and only a few people are lucky enough to see it. I remeber seeing one when I was about 10 years, about 1956, I think in the autumn- March(?)
at Mount Gambier, SA. I have never forgotten the magical movement and blending of the colours, and they bwere all there. I often wonder who else saw that magical sight and if there are any recorded sightings of that one.
Does anyone know?
