The President of the United States of America does not give out exclusive interviews lightly. The New York Times hasn't had one, neither has Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Time or Newsweek.

If he is going to give a solo interview it has to be to a paper that is up to it, one of a certain, err, calibre. It is quite obvious, then, which UK paper will be getting the interview in the up coming presidential visit, The Sun. Apparently the president only agreed to the interview on the condition that his words of wisdom appear in close proximity to The Sun's legendary Page 3 girl who, by tradition, always appears sans clothes, at least on the top half.

Of course The Sun is more than a collection breasts with George W Bush squeezed in between them. It also has thought provoking analysis of current affairs such as:

"Man begins 12-day sausage, bean and chip bath to promote Brit food,"
"German saboteurs plotted to bomb Palace with peas in WW2, files reveal,"
"Sobbing islanders say sorry to the ancestor of minister eaten by natives."
