National Suicide Rates

Below is a map of suicide rates world wide. It is interesting that many of the countries with the best social services also have high suicide rates. Whilst good social welfare programmes may be honourable they don't do much for the mental health of the community.

In Australia, it's estimated that 90% of suicides are blokes.

I think it is similar in the other suicide nations. Basically, Countries with feminised social welfare systems lead to men being ignored.

WHY?
HINT:
Many of these suicides are after divorce, when men realise that their children have been taken away. 98% of Family Court orders are for sole custody in Austrlia...

Social welfare systems have een dominated by women, and especially a strange breed of post-feminist "femiNasty" man-haters.

You try to steal or mistreat my children and I'll react pretty badly too!

Whilst much of what you say is correct ParttimeParent I think that the issue is more complex. 98% of Family Court orders are for sole custody in Austrlia because this is deemed to be in the best interest of the child. The fact that so few of these custody orders name the father as the custodian is of bigger concern.

Also this alone does not account for the male suicide rate. Male suicides exceed female in all age groups, particularly among teenagers.

The real issue is the lack of support services for men and a culture in which men will not seek help even from those few services that do exist.
